VIASPACE Signs Second Deal for Fuel Cell Test Stations |

VIASPACE Inc., a company that transforms proven space and defensetechnologies from NASA and the Department of Defense into hardware andsoftware solutions, announced today that it has entered into a distributionagreement for Fuel Cell Test Stations with SciTech, a manufacturer of fuelcell test equipment for major manufacturers and universities located in Seoul,Korea.
Fuel Cell test stations that can test hydrogen, liquid and solid basedfuel cells are an expanding portion of the $54 Billion clean energy market.SciTech offers mid-range single and multi-channel fuel cell test stations thatrepresent lower cost options for fuel cell and automotive manufacturers inJapan, Europe and the United States. Hundreds of universities throughout theworld are also engaged in fuel cell research, but must deal with the realityof limited budgets when it comes to equipment purchases.
VIASPACE CEO Carl Kukkonen stated, "We are very pleased with this newagreement, granting VIASPACE exclusive rights to distribute these productsoutside of Korea. This line of fuel cell test stations will be attractive tomany of the customers who have or will purchase the HS-1000 VIASENSOR, ourreal time laser based humidity sensor, such as Ballard or 3M. This is alsoanother opportunity to sell a VIASENSOR to every customer we call on todiscuss fuel cell test stations."
