Nuvera Fuel Cells announced today that it will unveil the first hydrogen refueling station in Massachusetts on August 11, 2008. The ribbon cutting event will take place at Nuvera's headquarters in Billerica and will feature refueling demonstrations involving 9 hydrogen powered vehicles from leading automotive companies that are traveling from Portland, ME to Los Angeles, CA as part of a coast to coast tour. The vehicles will be on hand for public viewing after the event. Invited guests will have the opportunity to spend a few hours learning about hydrogen as a transportation fuel from the people who are working on the vehicles and infrastructure. Members of Congresswoman Tsongas’ office and distinguished officers from the Commonwealth and local governments will be in attendance.
